FAQ
I can't log in, what should I do?
First check that you're using the correct address (<organization>.trinyon.app) and the Google
account you were invited with. If you land on an "Access denied" page,
your account hasn't been added to the organization yet — contact your logistics
coordinator or administrator. See Login & Getting
Started.
I can't find the button to create a request / a member of my sector can't find it
Being a member of a sector isn't enough to be able to create a request: the role assigned to that person in that sector must also have the "can submit requests" capability. Without this capability, access to the sector is read-only, even if the person is indeed part of the sector — this is a common source of confusion.
To check:
- From the Admin space, open the profile of the member in question and check which sector role is assigned to them (lead, deputy, member, external, or a custom role).
- Check that this role does have the "can submit requests" capability enabled — the four system roles don't necessarily all have this capability by default.
- Only an organization administrator can modify sector roles and their capabilities. See Sector roles for details.
My request is stuck "in question", what should I do?
Open the request: logistics has left a message specifying what needs to be completed. Edit the request accordingly and resubmit it. See the request lifecycle.
Why can't I confirm a delivery from my sector?
This is intentional: only logistics physically confirms receipts and distributions. Sectors view their deliveries in read-only mode and report an incident if there's a problem.
A product I need no longer appears in the catalogue
It has probably been archived rather than deleted — products are never deleted, to preserve the history of past requests. Contact your organization administrator if you think it should be reactivated.
Web or mobile, which one should I use?
My order is in draft, why doesn't it show up in the "committed" budget?
This is normal: an order in draft (not yet confirmed) counts toward the forecast, not the committed amount. It only moves to committed once the logistics coordinator confirms and sends it to the supplier. See Budget & Sponsors.
I can no longer report an incident from mobile
As with requests, reporting an incident requires that your sector role have the "can submit requests" capability. A read-only role (e.g. "sector external") can neither create a request nor report an incident. See Incidents.
I recorded a partial return, why is it still "in progress"?
A return can be spread across several records: each partial return leaves the remaining balance open for a future pass, without declaring anything lost. It's only when closing the return (reserved for the logistics coordinator) that any remaining balance still missing is declared lost and triggers a dispute. See Returns.
