Receiving
When a supplier delivers the material for an order, logistics records a receipt: it notes what actually arrived, line by line, and can attach supporting photos (damage, incomplete packages...).
Life cycle
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Expected | Supplier delivery not yet arrived |
| Fully received | Everything ordered has arrived, as expected |
| Partially received | Only part has arrived |
| Problem | Significant discrepancy (damage, wrong item...) |
Receiving is an action reserved for logistics — logistics is the only party that physically confirms deliveries, sectors and suppliers do not have this capability.
A receipt already Fully received, Partially received, or Problem can be "un-finalized" via the Cancel finalization action, reserved for the logistics coordinator: the received stock is reversed (restored exactly as it was — the original movement remains visible in the history, never deleted) and the receipt reverts to Expected, editable again. The linked order can then also revert to an earlier status. The cancellation is refused if the received material has already been distributed to a sector — the related distributions must be cancelled first. Once finalized, however, a receipt can no longer be deleted: only this finalization cancellation allows reverting.
Detail by line
For each line of the order, logistics enters the quantity actually received and a condition:
| Line condition | Description |
|---|---|
| Compliant | The received material matches the order |
| Damaged | The material arrived damaged |
| Missing | The ordered material did not arrive |
The receipt's status isn't chosen manually: it follows from the line-by-line entries. A single damaged or missing line is enough to move the receipt to Problem; otherwise, if some quantities are missing, it becomes Partially received; otherwise it is Fully received.
